If you find yourself making the Italian hand gesture or following an agent dressed like Al Capone, you might be in on Tommy DeVito mania. 

While DeVito has cooled down a bit since his 3-1 run with the hapless New York Giants, DeVito has at least shown some promise – perhaps he’s not an NFL starter, but a good backup (which, as we’ve seen in 2023, is a really nice thing to have –Just ask the Colts).

Introducing Tommy DeVito rookie cards

During the 2023 season, Tommy DeVito brought the NFL the closest thing we’ve seen to Linsanity. His stats were never impressive – he only threw for more than 200 yards once thus far as a starter – but he did do something that Daniel Jones has struggled to do: win games. 

DeVito was also undrafted and therefore doesn’t have many rookie or prospect cards yet.  His first cards are 2022 Sage cards, including a prospect autograph, but those cards will inevitably tank in value when other DeVito rookies release now that he’s become a household name.

Don’t buy those.

It could be easy to get caught up in the hype, so be careful when buying Tommy DeVito rookie cards.

• Buying unlicensed cards: DeVito doesn’t have many cards yet, so wait for licensed cards from reputable companies before making any purchases. 
• Avoiding overpopulated cards: As more of his cards hit the market, be cautious about investing in base rookie cards that may have a high print run.
• Prioritizing quantity over quality: Focus on acquiring fewer, but more valuable, cards.

• Buy sealed wax: Investing in sealed basketball card boxes can be a safe bet, especially if you choose the right products. If you buy 2023 boxes and DeVito doesn’t pan out, you’ll have other rookies that help prop up the value.

• National Treasures RPA (He’ll almost definitely be in National Treasures, one of the latest releases of the year.)
