Players are featured in their professional uniforms as this product focuses on the Italian Premier League. 

In 2021, Panini reached a contract extension with the Italian Soccer League. So under the contract extension, Panini will have licensed products when it comes to the Italian Soccer League until 2030

Although like any product, there are some negatives. A limiting factor to Panini Mosaic Serie A s that it only features players from the Italian Soccer League. While there are plenty of extremely talented players that you can get from this product, with there being a smaller pool to choose from in terms of players compared to something like a World Cup or Premier League product, leading to some disappointment among collectors.

While that is to be expected and that risk is run with any box, the odds are a little higher with a product like Mosaic Serie A. Of course, if you closely follow the Italian Soccer League, this wont matter as much to you and this is the perfect product for you. In fact, there is a favorable chance that purchasing a hobby box of this product will land you a card or two of your favorite player.

Lastly, like all soccer products, there is not an enormous domestic market for soccer cards. While it is the most popular sport worldwide, it does not crack the top three in most followed in the United States and card collecting has not caught on elsewhere like it has in the U.S.

As a result of this, the market is not as kind to soccer cards as other sports, especially when taking into account the price of this product and the quality of the cards.

Each hobby box will be comprised of ten packs per box and fifteen cards per pack for a grand total of 150 cards per hobby box.

Out of those 150 cards, you can expect to pull one autograph, five silver parallels, fifteen Mosaic parallels, and twenty inserts or insert parallels. The initial price point for a hobby box is around $390. Fortunately, those prices seem to have come down.

Twelve box hobby case

The twelve-box hobby box case will be comprised of 120 packs and fifteen cards per pack for a grand total of 1800 cards. Out of those 1800 cards, you can expect to pull twelve autographs, sixty silver parallels, 120 Mosaic parallels, and 240 inserts or insert parallels. The case hit will be a very rare overdrive card.

After initial estimates were $4000-$4500 to buy a 12-box case, those prices came down quite a bit.

There is a lot to like about the newest release of Panini Mosaic Serie A, including a good selection of parallels to pull.

If you are high on a handful of players in the Italian Soccer League or a fan of the league, then this could be the product for you. However, for collectors who are looking for some upside of these cards and are fans of other soccer leagues, you will probably want to look elsewhere.

The boxes were priced relatively high when compared to other products on the market, although those prices have come down. While we didn’t like the product much at original prices, if the limitations of 2021-22 Panini Mosaic Series A aren’t too much of a negative, current prices may be more appealing to you.
