The 2022 Topps Gypsy Queen base set consists of 320 cards, with the final 20 cards (301-320) being short-printed. The short-printed cards feature all-time greats. 18 of the 20 are Hall of Famers, spanning from Babe Ruth to Jackie Robinson to Derek Jeter. When eligible, one of the remaining two, Ichiro Suzuki, will join the others in the Hall of Fame. Bo Jackson is the only player featured who is a non-HOFer, but he’s a legend in his own right. The short prints are seeded in 1:24 packs.

2022 Topps Gypsy Queen celebrates Jackie Robinson day with variations that feature 30 of the game’s biggest stars in their #42 jerseys from Jackie Robinson Day.
Jackie Robinson Day is celebrated across major league baseball on the anniversary of Robinson’s major league debut and features every player on every team wearing Jackie Robinson’s number 42, which has otherwise been retired across baseball. It is an excellent nod to history, what we still have to accomplish as a society and a celebration of baseball.

2022 Topps Gypsy Queen celebrates these jerseys and 25 players whose team sported the City Connect jerseys in 2021. The City Connect is a collaboration between MLB and Nike to re-imagine team uniforms to “properly and creatively represents their community.” The alternate jerseys are worn on a limited basis on special occasions throughout the season and have proved popular with players and fans alike.
The Field of Dreams game is a recently begun annual event played at the ballfield featured in and made famous by the movie “Field of Dreams.” Carved into a cornfield in Iowa, this field is very unlike your average major league park, but this game is always very much anticipated by fans and players alike. The variations feature photos of 10 New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox players who took part in the game in 2021.

Not a lot of detail is known yet about the Standard Image Variations yet. However, they are a hobby exclusive. Therefore, we do not yet have a checklist for this variation.
One-of-one Black parallels can be found for these variations, as can Black and White parallels, numbered to 42.

2022 Topps Gypsy Queen offers Chrome versions of the base set seeded roughly 3 per box for those who like their old-timey cards with a touch of chrome. One hundred cards get the Chrome parallel treatment, focusing on some of the most exciting players in the game.
