Noteworthy Sports Card Releases In January 2025

January is starting 2025 off with a bang. Many cards are releasing for all the major sports, and some surprisingly timely Panini releases are also happening (if they release on schedule, at least).

As always, here are the CardLines picks for cards to watch in January 2025. And, also as always, a feature on this list doesn’t mean it’s a must-buy. We’re sharing honest thoughts on all products.

Please note: the release schedules are very fluid and move frequently. These dates are not guaranteed (and with so many releases tentatively scheduled for January, it’s a safe bet many will not be released this month).

Each hobby box contains 24 packs with 8 cards per pack, offering a range of nostalgic and modern hits.

Collectors can expect 2 on-card autographs, 8 pink foilboard parallels, 12 inserts, and 2 numbered parallels per box. Topps Archives is a must-have for fans of baseball history and vintage card designs.

2023-24 Panini National Treasures Basketball (01/08)

That said, 2023-24 National Treasures will not have any Victor Wembanyama autographs (like every other Panini Product), which is a big chink in the popular product’s armor.
