Everything We Know About The 2023 Panini Select WWE Release

Stepping back into the ring for its sophomore year, Panini Select WWE brings some of the top names in wrestling and plenty of chase pieces.

This set is filled to the brim with Prizm goodness, as you’d expect from a Select release. WWE fans should be pleased with both the roster and the variety of cards this year. 2023 Select WWE will release July 28, 2023.

2023 Panini Select WWE checklist

No checklist has been released yet, but we’ll update you here once it is. For now, we know that the base set will be split into Select’s usual three sections: Concourse, Premier Level, and Ringside.

The tiers will have different designs and rarity, with Concourse being the most common and Ringside as the rarest. We also know there will be plenty of autographs and inserts, with the following confirmed to be included:

  • Ringside Action Signatures: Autographed cards with an iconic photo.
  • Legendary Signatures: Autographs of past great wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin.
  • Autographed Memorabilia: A simple combination of autograph cards and clothing swatches.
  • Snapshots: Includes stunning photos of past events.
  • Color Wheel: A chase piece with a circular color gradient in the background.
  • And New!: Shows off different title changes.
  • Sparks: A returning memorabilia set.

Based on last year’s release, Signature Selections and Selective Swatches may also appear.

Final thoughts on 2023 Panini Select WWE release

Overall, 2023 Panini Select WWE looks to be a solid release for collectors who want more WWE products, but investors should be wary.

Last year’s release hasn’t performed as well as you would expect from a debut release, so there’s a low chance of this release increasing substantially in value in the future.

It will definitely be interesting to see how Panini manages the print run this year, with seemingly plenty of boxes still available from 2022 despite strong collector interest.
