An Early Look At 2025 Bowman Baseball – What We Know So Far

The release of a new Bowman product is always a highlight of the baseball card release calendar. The product will give us our first licensed cardboard glimpses of some top prospects from across the game.

But what do we know about 2025 Bowman Baseball so far? What will they look like? What players might we see on the checklist? And when will they arrive?

2025 Bowman Baseball release date and presale

While we don’t know the exact release date for 2025 Bowman Baseball, all indications are that it will release sometime in May. For reference, last year 2024 Bowman dropped on May 8^th.

This implies that 2025 Bowman Baseball should become available for presale sometime in early April. Check back for more info as it becomes available.

While we don’t yet know all of the release formats for 2025 Bowman Baseball, we did get a sneak peak of the Hobby Box layout, which comes with 8 cards per pack and 24 packs per box.

Hobby Boxes contain one autographed card per box. We also now know the “cover boys” of 2024 Bowman, who are James Wood, and Charlie Condon.

2025 Bowman Baseball design

The design of 2025 Bowman Baseball is somehow both new, but also just feels like a Bowman design. Blue borders and a curved frame surround the player photo, which pop out of the frame. Player name, team, and position are all at the bottom of the card.

Another design-related bit of news we have is that the popular Anime inserts from 2024 will return in 2025.

2025 Bowman Baseball Checklist sneak peak

While we don’t have the checklist for 2025 Bowman Baseball yet, we can be fairly sure of a few names of interest to collectors that should appear.

These include two players from the top 10 of the 2024 draft who were held of previous products and should have their 1^st Bowman cards in 2025 Bowman Baseball. These are #3 overall pick Charlie Condon and #7 overall pick JJ Wetherholt.

Other names we can expect include Jesus Made, Kevin McGonigle, Slade Caldwell, and Jac Caglianone. As a cover boy, one assumes that Wood will also appear on cards, although they won’t be his first Bowman.

A rainbow of parallels will of course be available, although details on exactly what format they take and print runs is not yet available.
