While we know quite a bit about the 2025 Bowman Baseball release, including the 1st Bowman cards that are worth chasing. But now we know we’re at the start of another chapter of the 2025 Bowman story with the pre-sale of 2025 Bowman Mega Box on Topps.com starting on April 28, 2028 at 12:00 PM ET.
The release date for 2025 Bowman Mega Box is scheduled for May 28, 2025 (subject to change).
2025 Bowman Mega Boxes will contain 4 packs of 2025 Bowman Baseball and 2 exclusive Mega Box packs. The standard 2025 Bowman packs have 10 cards per pack. The Bowman Mega Packs have 5 Mega Chrome cards.
Mega Box exclusives card look like the 2025 Bowman base cards, except that they feature a geometric pattern on the background that is exclusive to Mega Chrome cards. The 2025 Bowman Mega set consists of 100 cards, including 50 each from the 2025 Bowman base and prospects sets.
Mega Boxes will also offer up some exclusive parallels, inserts, and autographs, although the boxes typically don’t guarantee any hits.
We can expect an extended rainbow of parallels to accompany 2025 Bowman Mega Box, although the details are not yet known. Stay tuned for details as they become available.
In addition, you can find Image Variations of 10 cards from the 50-card veteran and rookie card set, and 10 Chrome Prospects Image Variations cards from the 50-card Chrome Prospects part of the set.

Based on the prices of recent sales, these don’t feel like a very good candidate to buy-and-hold unopened. In most cases, prices were around the drop price, but that wasn’t always the case and the growth potential doesn’t appear to be here.

A Mega Box Red Mojo Refractor /5 of Walker Jenkins in PSA 10 sold for $1,700. A Dylan Crews Mojo Refractor Auto /25 also in PSA 10 sold for $1,500. A Paul Skenes Red Mojo Refractor /5 also in PSA 10 sold for $1,350. A Roman Anthony Orange Mojo Refractor /25 also in a PSA 10 slab sold for $1,200.
Prices go down from there, but for a $50 box, there’s clearly the chance at some solid hits. The most valuable cards are of course quite rare, but the chance exists.
