By his sophomore year, Joe Burrow became the starting quarterback for the Varsity football team at Athens High School. At just 15 years old, he led them to an 11-2 record and two playoff wins. Over his three years as a starter, he went 37-4 (16-0 in conference play) and eight playoff wins.

After meeting with LSU coaches to watch film, he decided to play at LSU. In the 2018 season, he led LSU to a 10-3 record, including a fantastic win over UCF in the Fiesta Bowl. He ended up passing for 2,894 yards, 16 touchdowns, seven rushing touchdowns, and only threw five interceptions. By the end of the 2019 season, Joe Burrow had so many accomplishments; he needs an entire chart showing all of the NCAA and SEC records.
