2022 Topps Cosmic Chrome base set & design

The 2022 Topps Cosmic Chrome base set consists of 200 cards. The checklist contains a mix of veterans and rookies.

As mentioned in the opener, the design features a lot of chrome, bright colors, and abstract backgrounds. I expect some collectors will love the design, celebrating its vibrancy. Others probably will find them a bit too “loud and shiny” for their liking. I’m sure some will harbor a little of both feeling.

Regardless of where you fall on that spectrum, there’s a place for this product in the market. It will be interesting to see how this new offering is received and sells both in unopened form and in the secondary unopened market.
