2022 Topps Gilded Collection release format & release date

The 2022 Topps Gilded Collection product is scheduled to drop on December 30th, 2022 (subject to change). Check here for more December 2022 sports card releases.

2022 Topps Gilded Collection packs contain 5 cards each, with a hobby box containing just one pack. Every Hobby case of 2022 Topps Gilded Collection contains 18 hobby boxes.

Hobby boxes are pre-selling in the $350-400 range, while hobby cases are pre-selling for $7,150.

Each pack contains 2 autographs: one Gold Framed Autograph and One Gold Etch Chrome Autograph.

2022 Topps Gilded Collection base set & design

The 2022 Topps Gilded Collection base set consists of 150 cards. Those are evenly divided between rookies, veterans, and legends.

The design is similar to Topps Flagship and Topps Chrome, but with some etched embellishments. You know, to class it all up a bit.

Final thoughts on 2022 Topps Gilded Collection

At up to $400 for five cards, this is clearly a premium offering. That’s not for everyone, as the higher the pack price and the more intense the hits, the harder and higher the odds of a premium pull are.

But if you like to swim in this kind of big pond, you can do worse than 2022 Topps Gilded Collection.
