The holidays are coming early this year, or at least we’re getting 2023 Topps Holiday Mega Boxes almost a month earlier than last year. While not a lot of detail is yet known about this year’s Mega Box offering, we do know a little bit. Check back here for more info as it becomes available.

The release date for 2023 Topps Holiday Mega Box is scheduled for November 2, 2023 (subject to change). This is 28 days earlier than we saw in 2022. Also changing from 2022? The price. Pre-sales at Walmart.com are roughly $5 higher than last year, at $29.92.
2023 Topps Holiday Mega Boxes contain 10 packs per box. Each pack contains 10 cards per pack. Each Mega Box contains one autograph, relic, or autographed relic per box. Mega Boxes also contains one Oversized Die-Cut ornament box topper.

The base set of 2023 Topps Holiday Mega Box contains 200 cards. With the smaller checklist, the players featured tend to be better known stars and rookies, with fewer fringe players than you may see in a flagship Topps product.
The design mirrors 2023 Topps flagship except for some holiday-themed accents, including snowflakes and the like.
2023 Topps Holiday features a few parallels for your breaking pleasure. For example, we know that Metallic Holiday parallels are seeded at 5 per box. In addition, tougher parallels are available, including Red Metallic Holiday (/99) and Golden Metallic Holiday (1/1).
Select cards from the set also get Variations, including Short Print, Rare, and Super Rare levels. These have proven a popular chase in prior years, and bring a bit of fun to the proceedings with various holiday or winter themes.
Short Print Variations cover 50 cards from the base set, and are seeded 1:7 packs.
Rare Variations include 25 cards from the base set, and are seeded 1:20 packs.
Super Rare Variations also feature 25 cards from the base set, but are seeded at a tough 1:161 packs.

Each 2023 Topps Holiday Mega Box contains one Oversized Die-Cut MLB Ornaments box topper. The 20-card checklist features some of the most popular stars and hot rookies in MLB.
Each Mega Box contains a memorabilia card, an autograph, or an autographed memorabilia card.
The Relics offering is the most readily available memorabilia card in 2023 Topps Mega Box. The checklist consists of 76 cards and these are seeded 1:11 packs. Parallels include Blue Metallic Holiday (/99), Red Metallic Holiday (/25), Silver Metallic Holiday (/10), and Golden Metallic Holiday (1/1).
Holiday Relics are a tougher pull, with the 49-card set seeded at a tough 1:829 packs. Base versions are numbered out of 75. Red Metallic Holiday (/25), Silver Metallic Holiday (/10), and Golden Metallic Holiday (1/1) parallels are also available.
Holiday Faux Relics offer a bit of whimsy, with (spoiler alert) fictional holiday characters appearing. The 5-card checklists features such luminaries as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Frosty, and an Elf. Numbered out of 25 and seeded 1:24,594 packs.

Autographs and autographed memorabilia cards are sure to be some of the most popular chase cards in 2023 Topps Holiday Mega Box.
Autographs are seeded 1:308 packs and offers a 42-card checklist. The checklist contains many exciting young players and rookies. Red Metallic Holiday (/25), Silver Metallic Holiday (/10), and Golden Metallic Holiday (1/1) parallels are also available.
Autographed Relics offer autographed versions of 37 subjects from the Relics memorabilia cards. Numbered out of 25 and seeded a tough 1:3,409 packs.
Holiday Relics Autographs add ink to 34 cards from the already tough memorabilia card offering. Seeded at a tough 1:8,798 packs.
Holiday Faux Relics Autographs offers fake autographs (fauxtographs?) of the fictional characters in the Holiday Faux Relics memorabilia set. The checklist consists of five cards, which are seeded 1:24,005 packs.
